Donation Cancellation & Refund Policy

Donations are voluntary contributions and are ordinarily final once successfully processed and acknowledged. Please verify the amount and selected category before payment. This does not exclude correction of duplicate or erroneous payments, rights under applicable law, or refunds required by the provider or law.

Requesting a review

If you believe a payment was duplicated, made in error, or debited without a successful donation record, contact donation support [to be confirmed by the Committee] within [to be confirmed by the Committee] with donor name, transaction date, amount, provider reference and explanation. Never send full card details, CVV, PIN, OTP or passwords.

How refunds work

The Committee will check provider settlement records and its donation ledger. If a duplicate, technical failure or other refund-eligible error is confirmed, a refund/reversal will be initiated to the original payment method. Actual credit timing depends on the provider and issuing bank.

A successfully completed voluntary donation is not ordinarily cancellable solely because a donor changes their mind.

Purpose-specific contributions

For a purpose-specific contribution, the Committee intends to apply funds to the stated purpose as far as practicable and consistent with law and its governing rules. If the project is completed, delayed or cannot proceed, any reassignment to a closely related temple purpose will follow Committee-approved rules.

Timelines and receipts
